Catch The Wave Target Audience: 

Audience Size – 500 Attendees

Our attendees include but are not limited to:

  • Supplier Diversity Professionals

  • Women-owned Businesses (start-up to mature organizations)

  • Executive Leadership from Corporations

  • Resource Providers

  • Chamber of Commerce

  • Small Business Liaison Officers

  • Procured Professionals representing corporate and government entities

Workshop Requirements:

  • Presenters must be a certified WBE, Corporate Member, or a Non-profit/ Government Partner. 
  • All workshop sessions will be 60 minutes in length. 
  • Workshops should focus on one of the topics listed below.

Speaker Commitment: 

  • Content is original and/or the presenter is responsible for all trademark, copyright, and patent liabilities.
  • Be available to present anytime during the timeframe of the event up until the time at which a schedule has been finalized in writing to the speakers/instructors.
  • Attend all planning calls as needed.
  • Work directly with staff and event organizers before the conference and must adhere to deadlines.
  • Presenters are responsible for all presentation materials and must submit them prior to the appointed deadline. All presentation materials, including PowerPoint presentations, videos, or any additional collateral must be high-quality.
  • By submitting proposal all speakers/instructors grant permission to audio/video record the session for the purpose of selling or otherwise using the recording later; and agree that WBEC ORV shall be the exclusive owner of such recording.

Step 1: Complete the submission form for speaking consideration at the 2024 Catch the Wave conference by clicking the button below.

Step 2: Submit your request by Friday, May 31, 2024, at 10:00am. 

Step 3: We will reach out to get more information and/or send updates on the program to all who submitted. Selected speakers will be notified by June 21, 2024, at 5pm.  Selected speakers will receive a complementary pass to the conference.
