Who should attend? 

Everyone! Catch the Wave is open to WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs), WBENC National Corporate and Government Members, Regional Partner Organizations (RPOs), Regional Corporate and Government Members, non-certified business owners (female and male), buyers and procurement representatives, supplier diversity professionals, and federal, state, and local government officials. 

 

Which industries will be there? 

You will connect with women-owned businesses and companies that are industry leaders in healthcare, travel and logistics, food and beverage, energy, retail, transportation, telecommunications, finance, banking, office supplies, consumer-packaged goods, and more, to name a few, as well as federal, state and local government agencies.

How many attendees are expected?  

500 

Do you publish the attendee list? 

No, the full attendee list is not published due to privacy policies and risk of scams. 

NOTE: If you receive a solicitation from an organization claiming to provide or sell the attendee list, it is a scam. 

What should I wear? 

Unless noted, the recommended attire for all conference activities during business hours is business casual. There will be a lot of walking, so we recommend bringing comfy shoes.

Refund Policy:

All conference registration/ticket sales are final; no refunds will be issued. All sponsor package purchases are final and non-refundable. 

All requests for exceptions to the cancellation/refund policy must be submitted in writing to catchthewave@wbec-orv.org by the registrant with appropriate documentation no later than 30 days prior to the start of the conference. After that time, no refund considerations will be made. It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure the cancellation request is received. 

Can I Transfer Registration? 

A transfer of your full registration to another individual is permitted prior to the conference by submitting a written request to catchthewave@wbec-orv.org. Please include the Name, Title, and Email for the original registration as well as for the new colleague who will be using the registration.  

Onsite transfers must be accompanied by proof of the original confirmation letter. The original registrant must send an email must send a written request to catchthewave@wbec-orv.org.  

Can I transfer my registration to the 2025 Conference?  

Funds from this conference cannot be transferred to another conference.  

Can I share my badge with a friend/colleague? 

Badge sharing, splitting and reprints are strictly prohibited.
