Description

Many high-achieving women wear the Superwoman cape as a badge of honor—taking care of everything, showing up for everyone, and making leadership look effortless. But behind the scenes, that cape often comes with a cost: chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, and high-functioning depression and anxiety that quietly erode our decision-making, confidence, and connection to ourselves.

This session is honest and empowering for the woman who looks like she has it all together—but feels like she’s barely holding it together.

Led by Licensed Therapist and Soul Care Coach Kamilah Thomas, LCSW, this breakout explores the emotional, physical, and professional cost of leading from burnout and chronic over-functioning.

Through personal insight, clinical experience, and real-world strategies, Kamilah will guide participants to:

  • Recognize the signs of high-functioning depression and anxiety in life and leadership

  • Understand how the Superwoman identity affects performance, delegation, and self-trust

  • Learn simple, sustainable wellness practices that don’t feel like “one more thing”

This session will challenge the narrative that leadership requires sacrifice—and offer a new way to lead: rooted in peace, rest, and intentional success.
