This workshop will highlight the key topics of joint ventures and collaborations as well as the important element of capital access - all aimed towards the ultimate goal of business growth.  Included with be an overview of joint ventures and collaborations from a legal perspective that will outline how they are used to fuel growth, outline the risks and benefits as well as factors for choosing the right partnership.   

The Panelists will provide insight from their respective perspectives and experiences.  Barb is M/WBE that is currently operating in a joint venture,  She will share her experiences in selecting, negotiating, and participating in a joint venture.  Holli will share from the corporate/supplier diversity perspective what corporations are looking for in reviewing and promoting collaborations in order for their suppliers to achieve size and scale.  Aja will share from a financial perspective strategies on accessing capital and financing for collaborative growth strategies.
