As the owner of Dehan Enterprises Insurance & Financial Services LLC, she specializes in commercial insurance risks, group and employee benefits, individual medical plans and surety and fidelity bonds.

She is the founder and convener of ObamaCare Jams Healthcare Open Enrollment events that have connected thousands of families with medical coverage. She has served as the President of the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters and regularly provides business insurance training, coaching and risk management expertise to businesses through the Ohio Small Business Development Centers and other business support organizations. Her expertise has grown businesses from the incubator stage to risk strategies including cyber and management liability.

Sandra is an Adjunct Professor of Insurance and Risk Management at Franklin University (Columbus, Ohio). For approximately twenty years, she has regularly ranked in the top percentile determined by student evaluations and was recently awarded the Franklin University Teaching Excellence Award.

She has a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Macalester College (St Paul Minnesota), an M.B.A. in Finance from Atlanta University (now, Clark Atlanta), an Ohio Life Insurance License, and an Ohio Property & Casualty License and numerous industry credentials.
